This isn’t your everyday blog. Treat this site as if it were a listening booth. Read, listen, learn, search, find, SPREAD. Finding new music (especially ones you love) has always been an exciting experience. SMASHCARTEL would love to be your mecca for that.

Content use for promotional terms

The music posted ranges from hard-to-find rarities that have not been issued in many years to more contemporary offerings, and selections are often restricted to a particular musical genre or theme. This music blog posts some copyrighted material as a free download, but will post more content about each and every artist along with links to album purchases, promo videos, upcomming/recent shows, and just news about the artist. Because this blog is primarily about a specific musical obsession, it provides an expertly curated selection of music that you’d be unlikely to find on your own. There’s no question that the majority of what is posted on this blogs lacks permission from the artists or the labels, but the blog mainly offers lesser-known artists that are unlikely to threaten major-label revenue. All-in-all, the music posted is for you, for me, and for the community to educate and share.
